Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services, workshop bookings, shop purchases, and gift card transactions provided by Lume Studio GmbH i.G. ("Lume Studio"), Radetzkystrasse 8, 1030 Wien, Austria. By making a booking or purchase, you accept these terms.

2. Conclusion of Contract

A contract is concluded when you complete a booking or purchase through our website and receive a confirmation email. Workshop bookings are binding once confirmed. Shop orders are binding once payment has been successfully processed.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices listed on our website are final prices in euros (€). As a small business (Kleinunternehmer) pursuant to § 6 Abs. 1 Z 27 UStG, we do not charge value added tax (VAT). Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.

4. Workshop Bookings

Cancellation policy:

• Public workshops: Free cancellation up to 10 days before the event. Cancellations less than 10 days before the event cannot be refunded.
• Private and corporate workshops: Free cancellation up to 3 weeks before the event. Cancellations less than 3 weeks before the event cannot be refunded, but rescheduling is possible subject to availability.
• You may transfer your booking to another person at any time. Please notify us by email at lumestudiovienna@gmail.com.

No-show policy: If you do not attend a booked workshop without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued.

5. Gift Cards

• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Gift cards can be redeemed for any workshop or shop product.
• Gift cards are transferable to other persons.
• Partially redeemed gift cards retain their remaining balance until expiry.
• Gift cards are not returnable or refundable, as each gift card is personalised with the recipient's name and a personal message.
• Cash payout of gift cards is not possible.

6. Shop Orders

Shipping and delivery:

• We currently ship within Austria only.
• Pickup at the studio (Radetzkystrasse 8, 1030 Wien) is available by arrangement.

Right of withdrawal (consumers):

In accordance with Austrian consumer protection law (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz – FAGG), you have the right to withdraw from a shop purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at lumestudiovienna@gmail.com. The goods must be returned in their original, unused condition. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method.

Note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to workshop bookings (services with a specific date), as per § 18 Abs. 1 Z 12 FAGG.

7. Liability

Lume Studio provides creative workshop experiences with reasonable care. Participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for damage to personal clothing or belongings during workshops, as working with materials such as clay, wax, and paint may involve staining. We recommend wearing clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence in accordance with Austrian law.

9. Final Provisions

• Austrian law applies exclusively, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
• Place of jurisdiction is Vienna, Austria.
• Should individual provisions of these terms be or become invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
